We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or comply with legal obligations.

7. Google User Data and Calendar Integration

MapleConnect connects to your Google Account only when you choose to link your Google Calendar from within the application. We never access a Google Account that has not been explicitly connected by its owner. With your permission we request access to your Google Calendar (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly) and the email address of the Google Account you connect (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email).

• How we use it: Calendar access is used solely to display your existing Google Calendar events inside MapleConnect so you can see scheduling conflicts; to create, update and delete events in your Google Calendar for bookings and appointments scheduled through MapleConnect; and to keep the two calendars in sync. Your Google email address is used only to show you which account is currently connected. We do not use Google user data for any other feature.

• What we store: We store a Google OAuth refresh token so the sync can continue without asking you to sign in repeatedly, the email address of the connected Google Account, and the identifiers, times and titles of the events we synchronise. This data is held in our production database and is accessible only to your own MapleConnect account and to authorised MapleConnect personnel who require it to operate and support the service.

• What we do not do: We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising or to build advertising profiles. We do not use it to train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the calendar feature you requested, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case we will give notice. Humans do not read your Google user data except with your explicit consent for a specific support request, or where required for security or to comply with law.

• Disconnecting and deleting it: You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the Google Calendar panel on the MapleConnect calendar screen. Disconnecting deletes the stored refresh token and the connected email address from our systems, and MapleConnect immediately stops accessing your Google Calendar. You can additionally revoke access directly from your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of event data already synchronised, contact us at privacy@maple-connect.com and we will delete it within 30 days.

8. Limited Use Disclosure

MapleConnect's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. You will be notified of any significant changes through our website or via email.
